A.R. Rahman Berklee Scholarship for Indian students

The Berklee College of Music, situated in Boston Massachusetts in United States of America is now providing an AR Rahman Scholarship to students from India.

Berklee is the biggest independent college of contemporary music in the world best recognized for study in Jazz and modern American music. The institution has learned the likes of musicians like Quincy Jones, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford of Aerosmith, John Mayer, composer Howard Shore, and latest sensation Charlie Puth.

A.R. Rahman Berklee Scholarship

Berklee honoured AR Rahman with a doctorate in October 2014. Since then, the college and the maestro have harvested a relationship to advantage students with the knowledge of music.

Dates and Deadlines

Mumbai – January 26 and 27
New Delhi – January 30 and 31
Chennai – February 3

Academic Session: 2015-2016 academic year

If applicants miss out on the chance to audition live, they can also upload their videos on the Berklee website.

Applicants will have to give an audition and go through an interview process.
